Still no Nachos

But we did have Chinese food! Josiah picked up Chinese take-out for lunch. Sweet & Sour Pork, Pineapple Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Cheese Wonton and Eggroll. Not exactly health food but I took a small serving of each item and resisted seconds! One luncheon sized plate, not over-loaded, and that was it! I'll call that a success! I ate a fortune cookie later while I was folding laundry. Something about if I walk with integrity I can run with strength. Whatever! I can't even walk ... with or without integrity!

Dinner tonight was a joint venture. I started a pot of soup and then Bert finished it up and made grilled cheese sandwiches to go with. Yummy!

It's been a rough day for my knee. I think it's getting worse as stability seems less daily. It buckled on me a few times today and I wasn't on my feet that much. Concerns me for my return to work on Monday but I really have to go. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it rather than waste tonight and tomorrow worrying.

Hard to believe that the Olympics are nearly over. In fact I may be done watching since closing ceremonies don't hold that much appeal and I'm not a soccer fan. I will say that I thought I was going to have a heart attack watching speed skating last night. That sport is INTENSE!

I should probably head to bed but there is one last load in the dryer. And ... getting in and out (especially out) of my waterbed with this knee is really difficult and painful. I'm starting to consider sleeping in my good buddy the recliner! We'll see.

That's it for now. Until later ...

Sorry your knee is still giving you so much trouble. Did I tell you that my husband hurt his knee? It's been over a week and he is still pretty immobile. Hope you BOTH get better soon.

As far as the Chinese food -- I think what makes successful weight loss is making it work for you. Sounds like you're doing just that.
