l-o-n-g day!!!!

I just told Charlotte that I have 2 tendencies when I am bored. One is to shop (online or browsing catalogs). The other is to eat. Neither is good for me! And so begins the long quiet Spring and Summer. Too bad I can't sneak out of here to go water walking during the work day!

Mid-afternoon snack was an orange and a piece of cheddar cheese. No cookies anywhere on the horizon! :)

Almost 3:30 and the mail is somewhere in the building so I should have at least 15 - 20 minutes of activity at some point between now and 5:00. I wish there was some way to balance the lack of work at this time of year with the overwhelming quantities we face from August - January. There will probably be a few more days when we will be swamped all at once but for the most part this is the beginning of our down time. I do need to bring in my laptop and work on bringing personal and business financial records up to date. The thought of doing that at all isn't pleasant. The thought of doing it with a headache is worse! I'll postpone that little chore at least a few more days.

I can also catch up on some of the TV programs that I don't have time to watch at home since so many of them are available online. I became a LOST addict entirely online. That one nearly got me in trouble as I screamed out loud when some poor unsuspecting soul got sucked into a jet engine. LOL! The other ones that I enjoy watching online are Amazing Race, 20/20, Primetime Live, and some times The Apprentice. I liked that last one better when it wasn't celebrities and I can only tolerate so much of the Donald. His hair alone makes me shudder. Comb overs really should be illegal!

And then there are all the online games. I can play BubbleTown for hours! If I get bored enough I might even start a FB farm. No matter what Dr. Phil thinks!

Actually once I get the financial mess ironed out maybe I'll start working on turning digital pictures into memory books. I really think that at this point in my life digital scrapbooking will work better for me than paper, pens, scissors and stickers! Undoubtedly cheaper too!

And then there is blogging ... that could keep me busy all by itself! Even when I have absolutely nothing to say that's worthy of being committed to print!
