Waiting

Waiting for answers is not my favorite activity! You would think I'd be good at it by now but I'm not! I called Dr. Movva's office at 9:30 to see if I could light a fire under them. The receptionist was very helpful. She called Ramic and had them fax her my MRI  report and then she called me back to say she had it and would have the doctor look at it a.s.a.p. So now I'm waiting for a call back to actually tell me somnething. Hope they don't keep me dangling all day!

Positive note: Bert's pacemaker check last week was excellent. He's still supposed to go in for checks every 6 months but they indicated he should be good to go until he needs the battery replaced in 8 years. AND he had lab work done (Monday?) to test PSA levels (high would indicate cancer is back) and it was at 0.02 which is excellent!

I slept well last night but not long enough. Hit the snooze alarm at least 3 or 4 times. Finally stumbled out of bed and called work to say that I was coming in but I was running late. Forgot until I was partway here that I have been putting off getting gas for a few days. Seemed to be one of those days that I should have stayed in bed. Feeling cranky!

Doc called. MRI shows a meniscus (sp) tear. Have to be referred to an orthopedic surgeon. In the meantime he wants me to come in to have fluid drained off my knee. Yuck!
